                             Panna Cotta

Panna Cotta

na Cotta is often served with a fruit sauce, caramel sauce, or chocolate sauce. Here's a quick and easy berry sauce recipe to go with your Panna Cotta:

Ingredients for Berry Sauce:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
  • 2-3 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for a slight tang)

Instructions for Berry Sauce:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the mixed berries and sugar.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and release their juices. This will take about 5-7 minutes.

  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the berry mixture cool slightly.

  4. Optional: For a smoother sauce, you can blend the cooked berries in a blender or use an immersion blender until you achieve the desired consistency. If you prefer a chunkier sauce, you can leave it as is.

  5. Stir in the lemon juice (if using) to add a slight tang to the sauce.

  6. Let the berry sauce cool completely before serving.

To serve, unmold the chilled Panna Cotta onto individual plates and spoon the berry sauce over the top. You can also serve it directly in the glasses or ramekins if you prefer.

Enjoy the luscious and creamy delight of Panna Cotta with the sweet and tangy contrast of the berry sauce!
