Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.


  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.


  3. Gradually add the flour and salt to the butter mixture, mixing until the dough comes together and forms a crumbly texture.


  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.


  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until it turns lightly golden. Remove it from the oven and set aside.
