Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet or frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.


  2. Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through. If using raw sausage, make sure it is fully cooked before proceeding. Once cooked, remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.


  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil if needed. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent and slightly caramelized, about 3-4 minutes.
